REPUTATION INSTITUTE. International consultancy and research center specializing in corporate reputation management. They organize seminars and conferences across 5 continents. Its publications are a prime reference in this field. Some of the biggest Spanish corporations receive advice from its specialists.GLOBAL REPORTING INITIATIVE (GRI). International institution composed of various interest groups whose objective is the development of sectoral guidelines and appendices for the development of sustainability reporting. An official partner of the United Nations Program for the Environment and works in cooperation with the Global Compact of the United Nations. FUNDACIÓN ECONOMISTAS SIN FRONTERAS (ESF). NGO established in 1997 whose aim is to cooperate in improving the living conditions of the disadvantaged, both directly and through expert and specialized support to other NGOs.
OBSERVATORIO DE RSC. A coalition of fifteen organizations representing civil society, among which are NGOs, unions and consumer groups. It is a network that encourages participation and cooperation between social organizations from different points of view, working in Corporate Social Responsibility. It publishes an annual report on companies’ sustainability in the IBEX 35. Its founder, Marta de la Cuesta, is a member of the National Council of CSR.
THE GLOBAL COMPACT.A global UN Compact. This initiative was launched in 1999 and aims to enable enterprises to make the 10 Principles of conduct and action an integral part of their strategy. These 10 Principles are based on respect for global human rights, labor, environmental and anti corruption. The Compact is supported by UN agencies, trade unions and social groups.
